What are the challengers that HRM has to face regarding punctuality and work life balance in organizations after the COVID 19 pandemic ?

Blurring boundaries between work and personal life

This means that it's becoming harder to separate your work time from your personal or free time. This might happen when people work from home or have flexible schedules ,making it challenging to clearly define when work ends and personal time begins. It can sometimes lead to people feeling like they are always "on the job" even during their personal time.

Challenge :After covid pandemic shift to remote work had posed the challenge of blurring boundaries between employees professional and personal lives.

HRM Solution : HRM had to develop policies and guidelines to help employees set boundaries, such as defining working hours, taking breaks and promoting the importance of disconnecting after work.

Managing remote team effectively

Challenge : Supervising and managing remote teams requires a different set of skills compared to traditional in office management

HRM Solution : In response to the challenge of managing remote teams, Resource Management took action by implement training programs for managers. The training focused on developing the essential skills required to lead remote teams effectively. Priority was placed on improving communication methods to bridge the distance, fostering collaboration among team members who may be working from different locations and ensuring that efforts were made to maintain team staying connected when far apart.

Maintaining a positive Organizational Culture

Challenge : The shift to remote work challenged the maintenance of a positive organizational culture and sense of connection among employees.

HRM solutions : HRM had to find creative ways to encourage a positive culture through virtual events(game sessions and full challenges), team building activities and recognition programs that celebrate achievements and milestones.

Performance Management in a Remote Setting:

Challenge : Traditional performance management process may not align with remote work option, making it challenging to assess and track employee performance.

HRM solution :To address the issue HRM changed how they evaluate employee performance because the usual ways didn't quite fit remote work. Finally they focused more on what employees archive making clear what's expected and regularly communicate with them to give feedback and support their performance while working from different locations.

HRM supported a lot in dealing with these problems and they made smart rules, provided support and created a work culture that cares about being on time and having a good balance between work and personal life, especially as things changed after COVID 19.
